 Day job: Senior Sales Manager

What made me sign up: Taking up a physical challenge with a great group of people for the sole purpose to improve the life of less fortunate children is the precise reason why I signed up.

Attempted before: I have never cycled for more than a few kilometers so this is very new to me. I am so green that when I bought my bike and took it home I phoned the shop to complain that it did not come with a stand similar to the one I had on my bike when I was a child.

 Thoughts: Apart from the many hills, I keep thinking of whether I will manage to sit on a bike for around 10 hours. This is going to take some getting used to, especially in the hot summer months.
